Nick is currently a student at Berklee College of Music. He grew up in Orange County, California and has been playing guitar since age 9. Nick’s musical journey and talent flourished throughout middle school and high school at The Orange County School of the Arts. Nick’s conservatory classes included stage skills, ensembles, songwriting, music theory, arranging and recording. Nick thrived in each of these areas and his passion for music continues at Berklee.

 

Nick has performed in bands from almost all genres of music, including Country, Rock, Metal, Pop and Funk. Nick brings nothing short of energy and enthusiasm to each guitar performance that he gives. He is a reliable, go-to musician that comes to each gig prepared with both knowledge of his music and own equipment. “Performing is what gives me motivation to be the best musician I can be”.

 

A few of Nick’s musical influences include Prince, INXS, Van Halen, The 1975, Sister Sledge and John Mayer. He is not restricted to one genre of music in his guitar playing, his influences are vast. “My sound can be described as that crystal 80’s guitar sound that could be played under the disco ball”. It is a combination of all these influences and more that punctuate throughout his guitar playing with elements of Pop, Funk, R&B Soul, hip-hop, Rock and Reggae
